Well... things have been pretty dull for me at the moment, this last month has been a hard one. I've had allot of stuff to think about and re-organising of my life to do and it's not been much fun. That and I haven't been at work either and with most of my friends living in other country or being at Uni I've been pretty bored to say the leased.

I applyed last week to get my old job back at the Odeon Cinema but I haven't heard from them yet so I'm thinking that I'm not going too... although I have been online pretty much 24/7 so they wouldn't of been able to get through anyways! Ah well, I applyed for another job today that I found online, it's for a data entry position in Paddock Wood (which is the town I live in by the way), the hours are good (becasue I don't start untill 1) and the money's not bad either. And I'll just be happy to not have to go to work on the train everyday to be honest (which is what I would be doing if I was at the Cinema again). Also this job was only put on the web today so I'm hoping that I'm the first to apply and since they want someone to start asap (and that's not a problem since I'm not doing anything) then I'm hoping to hear from the agency tomorrow! I've got a huge credit card bill looming so it'll be good to have a source of income because what little money I have is slowly dissapearing and with Christmas just around the corner I feel that even more is gonna be going on the card... so I'm really hoping and praying for this job.

I also ordered Broadband (super fast internet connection) last week and the modem arrived today so now all I have to wait for is them to upgrade our phoneline to support it and I'll be a very happy man indeed! You all know how much of an internet freak I am, I literally spend all day online these days... there's just nothing else for me to do! So getting broadband will mean I can get my hands on pretty much anything I want on the net, since my connection is too slow to download anything huge now and I can't tie up the phone line all day cos we only have one line! So this will make all the people trying to call us happier!

I've been reading allot of this online comic (http://www.reallifecomics.com), it's a great but really only for computer geeks like myself, it's basicly a comic about these guys lives (although they do tend to be creative in the things they do... e.g. building time machienes and thaking over the world etc) but I think it's great. They do a daily comic and have been going for about 4 years... I decided to read all the comics for the past 4 years just because I have nothing else to do really... and that's over 1000 comic's if you were wondering! I've pretty much finnished them now tho so I'm in need of something to do again... it's a good job I'm getting broadband (hopefully tomorrow! - please Jesus!) because I might just die of boredom otherwise...

I've also read allot of books this past month, I read "I kissed dating goodbye" a fantastic book with allot of interesting and challenging things in it... worth a look for anyone who's dating etc. I also finally finnished "The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy" which is amazingly funny! A must for any sci-fi or comedy fans! and I've just started "The Heavenly Man" which is about a guy from China who was one of the big players in starting the Church in China, it's got storys about sign's and wonders he's seen and all kind's of great stuff.

Anyway's I think that'll do for now, feel free to ask any questions or make any comments etc. I'll give you another update soon on the job hunting, broadband, and life in general.

Oh and Long term...

Well I have no clue what I'm doing really... I'm toying with the idea of going to Uni, but only if I find something that I really want to do.

I've been looking at maybe doing YWAM (Youth with a Mission - like what I did on the school in Toronto only with more outreach) in New Zeland! Because I've always wanted to go there (Yes even before Lord of the Rings was Made). They also do there outreach on a boat and sail around to all the different outreach locations and I think that would be awesome!

They also have a Unversity where you can do all kinds of Kingdom based degrees, I like the look of a few of them but the brocure with all the info in is as confusing as anything and I'm still trying to understand it... but it's still really only a possibility at the moment.

I know that God's got something for me, I'll just have to wait to see what it is! Confused

Well friends I'm back with another update to amaze and excite you... well it will probably bore you actually but I'm thought I would update anyways...

Well things haven't changed that much over the last 9 days... I've still been bored and still have nothing of any real importance to do... But there is good news. That is people are back from uni! Yay! I get to hang out with Marie-Claire doing pretty much nothing every single day. and I'm sure I'll get round to seeing more people soon.

I've spent allot of time reading and playing games when I've been at home, and I'm better than I remember at TFC (Team fortres classic) a great online game where you go around shooting the other team and capturing there flag and stuff... it keeps me amused for an hour or so a day and I enjoy it (except when I'm doing really bad).

You'll of noticed on the site there is a new "MattCam" I brought myself a webcam this week just because now I have broadband I can used things like that to talk to my friends and you guys also get to see what I'm up to! Just a nice little feature I thought that I would add to the site for y'all.

Last might me and Marie-Claire watched a great film with Kevin spacy (lets face it there always good if he's in them) it was called... "the Life of David Gale) and we decided to watch it at about 11pm and we were up untill 1, which is pretty late for me and Maggie. But anyways its a great film, makes you think, very clever.

Also! Oh goodness!!! Lord of the Rings Return of the King was out this week and of course we had tickets for the day of release! And I must say it was fantastic! You must see this film! It even brough a tear to my eye, I loved every second to it but I am sad to say that it is now over... there will be no more lord of the rings films all I have left to look forward to is the Extended edition of Retun of the kind, that will be a nice treat because like the other 2 lord of the rings films Return of the king was a little rushed in places, but they managed to cut it down to 3:21 minutes! So if you can sit thru that long a film (and even if u can't) then go see it you won't regret it! I'm going to see it again Christmas eve and it's gonna be great!

Also the day of the film me and Maggie watched the other 2 Lord of the RIngs films too! The extended editions! So we spent something like 10 and a half hours watching Lord of the rings films!!! It's was a great day! Though I did have to be round Maggies at 8am! which meant I was up at 7. And I'll be doing the same with my mates Robin and Paul when I go and see it on Christmas eve... Although I don't think were gonna have time to do it realisticly because we've got tickets for the 2:30 showing we need at leased 6 hours for the theatrical versions and over 7 hours for hte Extended editions (that's with no breaks in between) so we'd have to be at Robins around 7 to star watching the films...I know Robin is an early person, I'm pretty sure that Paul isn't and I know for sure that I am definatly nOt!!! And me Paul and Robin will be have some Lan-age (a lan party - we take our coumputers round to Robins and play network games - were cool and you know we are!) and I'll be able to show them my l33tz skillz (that's leet skills and in illete skills) on the TFC and other games...

Anyway moving on... I did all my christmas shopping too which is very impressive I have to say, I didn't really get many people presents (not having a job and all that) but the presents I did get my family and few friends are with out a doubt awesome presents! I'll also be getting a new Hard drive for christmas having broadband has nearly filleld up my small one I have here, I'm on 20 gigs now and I'll be getting another 80 from my parents for Christmas! Which will be very useful! hopefully I'll never run out of space again! But I expect I will some day.

Hummmm what else is there to say... I can't think of anything, so untill next time!

God Bless and have a great Christmas! Santa

Well Hellllo!

I see there haven't been any posts for over a month! Isn't that nice! I make this website for you guys and you don't even use it! The CHEEK!

Only kidding guys, the site isn't going anywhere for a while so feel free to come back and start posting whenever! I wonder if anyone will ever read this! I see my last "Matt's Life" post was posted in December! WELL! That was too many months ago to count almost! no no... it's just 7, nearly 8! WELL WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING THE PAST 8 MONTHS! I hear you cry! Well this will shock most of you so prepare yourselves! NOTHING! MWAAHAHAHA!

Nothing really worth mentioning anyways... so prepare to be bored or just stop reading now. I've been (look out! another shock for you) Working! I know! 8 months of work, well not really 8 months of full time work but about 4 months of that has been full time and the other 4 I was temping. But I face another gruling 6 or 7 weeks of it then I'm off to Universtiy! (That's collage to you Americans). I will be going to Teesside (which is in Middlesbrough - or near scottland - for the less Uk Geography minded - and if your not sure where I live - it's south of London - Teesside is 5 hours north of where I am at the moment). I'm going to be taking computer studies, which will be cool cos that's my thing. It's really cheap to live there too and it looks like theres loads to do! So I'm looking forward too that.

I also have some holiday booked up for next month which I really can't wait for cos I haven't had any time off since April.

Anyway can't really think of anything else relevent to say so I'll stop there! What about the weather tho eh! It sucks it's meant to be July and all were getting is rain! This week has improved tho! Let's hope it holds for us Brits! I'm missing the Texan Sun! What I wouldn't give to go back there and soak it up!

Let us all know how your doing!

Peace out, Big Love

Quick update!!!

Not much to say really... I have now had my time off and only have 9 days left at work! w00t!!! and then I've got a week off before I got to uni.

I have nowhere to live at the moment and no loan so I'm a little worried about that! It'll all work out tho I'm sure!

I've also been up to Teesside and it's really nice, very cheap (good since I'm becoming a student n'all) only ?3.25 for the cinema (compaired to the ?7 it now costs here! Outragous!). I'll also be doing 13 hours a week... thats compared to the 45 I do a week at the moment! Can't wait!

Big love (as always)

Post more you arse-bandits

Hey everyone, or no-one as is more likley!

I've been trying to come up with a new idea for the website... The once active community of people here has almost fizzled out completely, with only 2 or three people posting other than me I feel that I need to do something more productive with the website. This has been my thought for a while now and I was reminded of this a few days ago when I recived my 60 pre-warning for paying for the webspace. The only thing is what can I do with the place? It needs a new look, layout and navagation and also a chance to bring in new users, we need fresh blood!!!

So expect to see changes! I will be incorporating a lot more of my personal interests I think as the community sprit of the site is all but dead. So expect to see a blog from me, probably a secton of TFC (team fortress classic - the online first person shooter that I play) and some tfc forums... I will leave this section of the site unchanged but will probably end up deleting some of the photos off the site to free up some space.

Also something that was a little strange... even tho the site is probably only getting 5 visits a day which are 99% all me because it's set to my home page. Last month the site managed to get really close to its bandwith limmit, which is strange. So I don't know why that was. Proably time I put a counter back on the site too see where people are coming from!

Anyway If you have any ideas about what to put on the site, either pm or e-mail me!

Mattous
